Sam Watson

Co-founder

Sam is Co-Founder of Modivus, with a background in Philosophy, Computer Science and AI, and 25 years delivering complex trading software and managing large-scale risk programmes in financial services. He helps organisations recognise that AI adoption isn't a technology project: it's a people project. Sam works with boards and executives on AI strategy, designs practical training for non-technical teams, and focuses on the cultural transformation and human factors that determine whether AI adoption succeeds or fails.

Ian Watson

Co-founder

Ian is Co-Founder of Modivus, helping organisations adopt AI with confidence, clarity, and a people-first mindset. With over 25 years’ experience leading transformation across business and technology, he partners with CPOs, CIOs and L&D leaders to build capability, alignment and trust. Before founding Modivus, Ian built and led Framework Training, one of the UK’s most respected technical training providers, delivering programmes for clients including the BBC, Bank of England, CERN and the MOD. His focus has always been the same: empower people first, and lasting change will follow.

Dr Paul Kent

Chief AI Officer and Learning Innovation Specialist

Dr Paul Kent is Chief AI Officer and Learning Innovation Specialist at Modivus, combining a mathematics PhD and research career (Warwick & Exeter) with extensive experience in teaching and training at all levels. His background in safety-critical systems, like autonomous air traffic control, means he understands what it takes to build trust in complex AI. Paul designs and delivers training that doesn't just explain what AI can do, but builds the confidence and fluency teams need to use it well. From mathematical foundations to practical prompt engineering, he meets learners where they are and helps them develop the capability that transforms both individual performance and organisational outcomes.
